Who was Grim Berge?
Grim Berge was a renowned filmmaker and drone photographer from Bergen, best known for founding Natural Light AS, where he wanted to promote natural light in landscapes and everyday moments through film and photography. He worked with tourism, nature and corporate projects, and collaborated with major clients such as Telenor, Expedia and Meltwater. He is particularly recognized for his tourism films, such as the award-winning short film Iconic Norway, which won silver at the Cannes Tourism Awards for best photography. Grim has traveled extensively, documenting over 160 destinations worldwide and creating a large library of visual content. The Discover Norway project, a 100-day drone journey through his homeland, has earned him international recognition for his stunning depiction of Norway’s fjords and cities. In addition to his creative work, Grim has won several prestigious awards, including the Black Dolphin Award for best cinematography in Cannes, an accolade that his inspiration, David Attenborough, has also received. Through the company Natural Light that Grim founded, we as a family want to inspire Grim's masterpiece by offering fantastic images for both private and commercial use.

The Coast in My Blood is a film by Grim Berge and Tron Jensen, who wanted to join forces to share their deep love for the Norwegian coast, our country and the people who live there.
To bring the vision to life, they brought together some of Norway's leading filmmakers, including Morten Rustad, Thomas Morel and Espen Rekdal. Musically, the film was lifted by strings from the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, led by concertmaster Melina Mandozzi, and singers from the Edvard Grieg Chorus.
The project received broad support from a number of partners who shared the film's values. These included the Institute of Marine Research, the artist Kygo, the Norwegian Aquariums (Atlanterhavsparken, Polaria and the Bergen Aquarium), The Historical Hotels, Fiskeribladet and Fjordkysten.
The film received an overwhelming response, and TV 2 described it as "an insane declaration of love for Norwegian nature."
An English version is planned for launch during 2025.
